London - A new television commercial from Cadbury’s chocolate has got the nation dancing. The commercial for the Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate is loosely based on the popular TV comedy The Office starring Ricky Gervais.
The logistics manager, Keith, of a company makes a call at the end of the day but is kept on hold. The music, Baccara’s disco hit “Yes Sir, I Can Boogie," catches his ear as he waits on hold and he starts to lip sync and dance across his office to the hit. On their YouTube website Cadbury's announced that “We've all been there, the music takes over and you just can't control yourself, no matter where you are!”
The creative idea behind the advert has proved a huge hit with the video reaching over 300,000 hits on YouTube in only a few days. The new eight-week campaign, created by the Fallon Agency, is believed to have cost Cadbury £7.5 million.
