An exchange student from America attempted to crawl inside a vagina sculpture in Germany and It took nearly two dozen rescue workers to free him after he got trapped.
The vagina sculpture is by a Peruvian artist called Fernando de la jara and has been at the Tubingen University in the German town since 2001 in the Institute for Microbiology, and is meant to be an embodiment of “the gateway to the world.” The exchange student from America had been attempting to take a funny picture inside the artwork last Friday afternoon when he slipped and fell, according to his friend.
Freeing the young man, whose name has not been released, from the 32-ton red Veronese marble monolith took no less that 22 firefighters , as well as paramedics who managed to slide him out without injury to him or the sculpture. Erick Guzman, a fellow student uploaded his pictures of the unfortunate incident to image sharing site Imgur and the gallery quickly jumped to the front page of Reddit making him an internet sensation.
The mayor of Tübingen told German News paper Süddeutsche Zeitung that he struggled to imagine how the accident could have happened,
Even when considering the most extreme adolescent fantasies. To reward such a masterly achievement with the use of 22 firefighters almost pains my soul.
