article imageRomulic and Stojcic uncover colours of the Adriatic in Croatia

By Paul Bradbury     Aug 17, 2014 in Environment
Rogoznica - The colourful beauty of Croatia's tourism jewel, the Adriatic Sea, is captured by the country's leading photographers, Romulic and Stojcic.
As Croatia presses ahead with its controversial plans to drill for oil and gas in the Adriatic in 2015, there was a potent reminder of the colourful natural beauty at risk from leading news portal Index.hr on August 15, 2014, as it carried a series of spectacular photographs from leading Croatian photographers Mario Romulic and Drazen Stojcic.
Romulic and Stojcic are arguably the country's most high-profile photographers, having featured in a spectacular photography exhibition around Europe in the lead up to European accession, while their spectacular timelapses have been hailed by national media as among the best promotional material for Croatian tourism (see video below).
The Osijek duo were back in the news this week with some spectacular photography from the depths of the pearl of Croatian tourism, the Adriatic Sea, with a superbly colourful selection of photographs taken near the Dalmatian town of Rogoznica, from depths of between 5 and 60 metres.
