Woman says Uber driver ran her over after dragging her out of car

The woman, Sascha Pangallo, said the driver was psychotic and mentally unstable. In a Facebook post she published last week, she said the Uber driver may have broke her leg and was left with a blood clot.

Pangallo, 24, said she ordered a car from Uber after she left work, and this was something she did on a daily basis. From there, the ride just turned into a complete nightmare.

The Uber driver refused to put Pangallo’s destination location on GPS, and he allegedly insisted that she give the directions to where she needed to go. She said she didn’t mind doing this, but she ended up getting a phone call and wasn’t able to provide him with further directions. That’s when he got angry and started to scream at her.

He continued to get angry and then allegedly dragged Pangallo out of the car. That’s when the Uber driver ran her leg over with one of the vehicle’s side tires. This is because she continued to speak on her phone and not comply with his demands.

The driver did all of this in front of witnesses, who were shocked at what they saw.

One man heard the commotion, so he came out of his house to see what was going on. The man, who was identified as Wally, said the Uber driver was really yelling and screaming.

Wally said that as Pangallo was rushing to grab her things from the back seat, the Uber driver just slammed on the gas pedal and that’s when her leg got caught under the car.

Pangallo was taken to the hospital, and she considers herself lucky because she didn’t suffer any serious injuries. She is now planning on taking legal action against Uber, saying that there was no reason for what had happened.

Uber heard about the incident and they took immediate action. The driver was removed from their service. Uber said it has already been in touch with Pangallo, and they are going to do everything they can to support her. The company added that they will assist authorities as they continue to investigate the incident.
