The incident took place earlier in the week at the Macy’s at the NewPark Mall. Anh Nguyen, 42, was arrested after she allegedly argued with a store manager.

Police said Nguyen got angry over the price of a handbag, and she started to swear at the manager, as well as another store employee. She also threw herself onto the floor. According to Consumerist, Nguyen received a discount on the item, but she was still angry over the price.

Initially, police reported that the the item that she got upset about was a pair of shoes.

Before throwing herself onto the floor, she was asked to leave the store. She continued arguing with the staff and she bit the leg of a loss prevention officer. The officer was treated for minor injuries at the store.

Nguyen was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery, and she was taken to the Santa Rita jail. At the time of this writing, it is not known if she is still in jail or if she appeared in court, or if she has an attorney.
