Watch woman chase convicted voyeur out of Florida Target store

On Apr. 26, Spivey was in a Target store in Yulee, Florida looking at bikinis. She was approached by Jeffrey Polizzi, 31, who said “I don’t want to bother you but…” Spivey then asked the man if he remembered her from a Publix store two years ago where he began a conversation with her using the same words.

At that time, Spivey was in a Jacksonville Publix store when the same man approached her. The man was accompanied by two young children and used the opening that he did not want to bother her but had some questions about whether a dress he bought for his wife was too shear. He continued the conversation by asking Spivey if she thinks his wife should wear panties and “shave down there.” He then asked Spivey if she wears panties.

During the entire exchange, he had his cellphone such that Spivey knew he was filming her. She notified Publix and the man was banned from the store.

In 2009, Polizzi was arrested after fleeing a surf store. He had a camera on his shoe and slipped it under the door of a dressing room in the store while women tried on bathing suits. One woman noticed the camera and grabbed his arm. Polizzi managed to get away but was later arrested. He pleaded no contest to the charge of video voyeurism and was sentenced to four months in jail. Police at that time found pictures of other women who were filmed up their skirts.

As soon as Spivey recognized Polizzi, she turned the tables on the convicted video voyeur, took her phone out and began filming him. Polizzi then dropped the basket of goods he was carrying, bolted out of the store and ran across the parking lot. Spivey gave chase yelling “stop that man” and “call the cops.” Although not seen in the video, some Target employees joined in the chase.

At one point while running across the parking lot, Spivey yells “Where are the two kids at?” Where are the babies at?” Spivey chased the man in order to try and get his licence plate but it was not necessary. Polizzi sped out of the parking lot just as police were arriving. He was pulled over, arrested and charged with reckless driving.

Spivey later said when Polizzi initially approached her in Publix he seemed normal, asking questions about what he was purchasing for his wife. The conversation then turned to asking her questions of a personal sexual nature. The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office said simply asking these types of questions is not illegal.

But the sheriff’s office posted the incident on their Facebook page and asked women who have been approached by Polizzi to contact them. News 4 Jax reports as of yesterday, about 50 women have contacted police.

Polizzi has been bonded out on the reckless driving charge. Spivey posted the video she took on her Facebook page and as of Monday, it received more than 1.7 million views.
