Bloomsburg - A fugitive who allegedly skipped bail was arrested on the campus of Bloomsburg University after police spotted his picture in a local newspaper.
According to the Associated Press (via Yahoo News), Jacob Close was taken into police custody while inside the college's student recreation center.
The Pocono Record states that Close's picture appeared in a weekly "Your Opinion" feature printed in the Bloomburg Press Enterprise. The publication asked him to give his opinion on whether or not the Washington Redskins' team name should be deemed as offensive.
Close was wanted by authorities due to his alleged involvement in a drug and drunken-driving case stemming back a few years ago, according to NBC news affiliate WMGT.
He currently sits in jail on $25,000 bail and is expected to be extradited to New York to face charges.
