Tallahassee - A shooting at Florida State University has left three students injured and the gunman killed by police. Twitter and Facebook users are posting videos and pictures as the event has been happening.
One video shows people huddled inside the library where shots were heard.
Huffington Post reported a nursing supervisor at Tallahassee Memorial Health Care told them that two people have been injured.
A couple of people sent out texts to their loved ones during the incident. For instance, Twitter user @KSBeautifulMess posted a screenshot of a message from her daughter who was in Strozier at the time.
A Senior Writer at Gawker provided up-to-the-minute coverage as he got to the scene just moments after reports of the shooting started coming in. His pictures and videos were posted on his Twitter account and helped to break the story as it was going down.
Another Twitter user named Blair Stokes appeared to have been inside Strozier at the time. She tweeted at approximately 1:37 AM that the Tallahassee Police Department told them that someone was shot. Later it looks like all the levels at the library were cleared floor by floor. A post of her's a couple minutes later shows that the people injured were being treated. When the cops came, everyone was told to put their hands on their hands as Stokes reported shortly after. Soon the students were escorted safely outside.
Supposedly, people manning the front desks were counted as victims (which was Tweeted by Stokes around 2:18 AM). A police member named Officer Garcia helped people out as seen in the photo below. They also searched the students just in case.

As Stokes continues to show in her Tweets, the library was cleared out with people leaving their items including laptops, coffee cups, and backpacks behind.
Once outside, people were escorted to the Bellamy building which is a brick teaching facility right nearby. Stokes posted that everyone was contained and told to sign a waiver. They were not to be released until contact information was recorded.

Additional information on the school shooting is still coming in.
The Tallahassee Democrat has interviewed students who heard gunshots nearby. Their account can be found on the website. The article also states that the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital confirms two were rush into the emergency with wounds from the incident.
Blair Stokes tweeted a photo that FSU student body president Stefano Cavallaro was giving out passes for classes/tests the next day due to the shooting. Her account will surface on CNN as well.
A redditor commented on an online post saying that he saw "I'm a student at FSU, I was leaving Strozier when I heard a shot behind me. I turned around and saw the gunman shoot one person who collapsed. I turned and ran to my car before driving off. There were a ton of people stuck in the library when this happened. I went home so I don't have any other details."
A Twitter user named Alex Lauren tweeted that "There are students on stretchers being wheeled out of Strozier". She also posted a quote from the Tallahassee Police Department who said "Two people have been shot. The gunman was killed by FSUPD. TPD is conducting an investigation."
