Grafton - A four-year-old boy who went missing from a Grafton child-care centre yesterday has been located safe and well and reunited with his mother.
Initial alert 10 p.m. (Monday 2 June, 2014)
The NSW Police Force is seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a 4-year-old boy who was taken from Grafton about nine hours ago.
About 3 p.m. (Monday 2 June, 2014) Alessandro Bongiorno was driving a white 2008 Toyota Hilux 4WD with NSW registration AY 44 NI, collected his son, from a childcare centre in Grafton.
Mr Bongiorno is described as being of Mediterranean in appearance, and 29 years of age.
Police are asking the public to be on alert and report any sightings of this man or the utility he was driving.
Police are urging members of the public not to approach the man or the vehicle, but to contact police immediately.

Update 2 a.m. (Tuesday 3 June, 2014)
The NSW Police Force is still seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a 4-year-old child who was taken from a Grafton childcare centre about 3pm yesterday (Monday 2 June, 2014).
Police are asking the public to be on alert and report any sightings of 29-year-old Alessandro Bongiorno, or the vehicle he was seen driving, being a white 2008 Toyota Hilux 4WD with NSW registration AY 44 NI.
Mr Bongiorno was last seen wearing a black singlet with white trim and a pair of shorts. He is approximately 175cm tall, with a medium build, olive complexion, and black hair.
Following a number of lines of inquiry, the boy and his father have not been located.

Update 5 a.m. (Tuesday 3 June, 2014)
The 4-year-old boy who was taken from a childcare centre in Grafton yesterday has still not been located.
The boy was taken by his father, Alessandro Bongiorno, who was driving a white Toyota Hilux 4WD with NSW registration AY 44 NI.
Mr Bongiorno was last seen wearing a black singlet with white trim and a pair of shorts. He is approximately 175cm tall, with a medium build, olive complexion, and black hair.
Police are asking the public to be on the alert and report any sightings of this man.

Update 8 a.m. (Tuesday 3 June, 2014)
A four-year-old boy who went missing from a Grafton child-care centre yesterday has been located safe and well.
Police stopped a white Toyota Hilux 4WD on Bent Street at South Grafton just before 7.30am today (Tuesday 3 June 2014).
The child was found in the back of the car and showed no apparent signs of injury.
The four-year-old boy was reunited with his mother.
A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Grafton Police Station.
He is continuing to assist with inquiries.
