A crying Aron Fink apologized to the court and said he was glad he was caught before he acted on his impulses. He told the judge, “I have no excuses. I do have a problem.”
Last year, Fink spent weeks communicating with a woman online and by phone who said she had two young daughters aged eight and 10. Using the screen name “KinkyDaddy4y,” he said he was looking for a woman who was raised in an incest family and who wanted to continue the “beautiful world of incest with their kids.” He told the woman he had wanted an incest family since he was young. He finds it “special” and “hot.”
According to court records, Fink and the woman engaged in lengthy conversations about having sex with each other and her daughters. He also told her he wanted to have a child with her so he could have sex with that child.
He eventually sent the woman naked pictures of himself and explicitly asked for sex with her and her two young daughters. The woman set up a meeting at a West Palm Beach fast-food restaurant for Aug. 13. The woman was an undercover police officer and Fink was arrested when he showed up to meet them.
Fink was charged with using a cellphone and a computer in order to entice a minor for sexual activity.
While in jail awaiting trial, the Sun-Sentinel reports Fink was severely beaten by inmates who learned what he was charged with from the media. When he appeared in federal court in West Palm Beach in October, his jaw had been wired. At that court appearance, Fink pleaded guilty to the charge.
On Wednesday, Fink’s lawyer said his client had no criminal record and police could not find any evidence the 44-year-old had actually abused a child.
After Fink gets out of jail he will be on supervised release for 20 years. During that time he will not be allowed to have any contact with minors.
