Police are looking for a man who is suspected of killing his 30-year-old girlfriend in Washington State after photos of her dead body appeared online.
David Kalac is suspected of second-degree murder after graphic photos of Amanda Lynn Coplin appeared online hours before her body was discovered.
According to The Salt Lake Tribune, police said that Kalac wrote descriptions of the murder. He also wrote about how he wanted to be found and killed by police.
Coplin's body was found in an apartment hours after her teenage son heard her fighting with Kalac. On Wednesday, an arrest warrant was issued.
Police said the photos that Kalac posted were of the Coplin and the crime scene.
According to The New Zealand Herald, Coplin's 13-year-old son said he thought his mother was sleeping in, and Kalac left the apartment on Tuesday. Later in the day he called his dad for help and that's when her body was found.
Kalac texted a friend of his and told them that they would be reading about him in the news.
Police said that at some point Kalac took Coplin's vehicle and then drove to Portland, where an officer spotted the vehicle. Police said that he was probably the driver, but it was not confirmed.
The officer did try to stop the vehicle, but the car sped off and the chase was eventually called off because he started to swerve into oncoming traffic.
