Cleveland - A man sentenced for inappropriate conduct with a minor collapsed and died outside of a courtroom in Ohio. His cause of death is not yet available leaving many to speculate on what could have happened.
Miguel Aybar, 51, fell over and died outside of the courtroom after hearing the verdict and exiting the courtroom. His trial was Wednesday the 25th and he was convicted of restraining a 14-year-old girl and "kissing her in the mouth with his tongue" according to a report from He was sentenced to 60 days and led out by officers when the incident occurred.
There is little evidence that Aybar could have done anything to himself to cause this. Only a few cases see that happen such as the one with Michael Marin, a former Wall Street trader who set his mansion on fire in order to get out of a mortgage. He took Cyanide after hearing his verdict.
Not all unusual deaths come to those who are being tried and/or convicted either. Larry Delassus was the victim of a typo telling Wells Fargo he owed $13,361.90 and had to go to court to argue his case against the company. He had a rare blood-clotting disorder which led to his heart stopping for good during the trial.
No matter how it happens a courtroom death always makes headlines and leaves people wondering. This incident is no exception for the media right now.
