On Sunday, David Angle, the older brother of former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle, was arrested and charged with homicide.
The Olympic Gold Medalist's 62-year-old brother gave an interview with authorities in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. In that interview, David said it was about 3 a.m. when his wife offered him some vodka, but he told her he didn't want any. He said his wife continued to bother him about drinking with her and it turned into an argument.
David said that during the argument his wife, Donna, attempted to kick him and he pulled her off the couch. He also said that he placed his foot on her chest and pulled. This caused her to become unconscious and after he couldn't revive her, he called 911.
As of now, medical examiners have not released an official cause of death for Donna, and David Angle is still being held at the Allegheny County Jail.
Donna was taken to the hospital, but doctors were not able to revive her, and she was pronounced dead.
Officials said that David is the older brother of professional wrestler Kurt Angle.
David Hawk is Kurt Angle's wrestling manager, and he said Kurt would appreciate that people honor his family's request for privacy.
