Brooklyn - New York Cops are looking for a man they say stole a 55-year-old woman's identity to obtain prescription drugs illegally.
The NYPD has declined to offer information on the specific drugs the suspect was stealing.
According to the authorities, the middle-aged female's identity was stolen by the suspect on December 5th, 2013, in the vicinity of the 61st Precinct in southern Brooklyn.
The suspect is accused of calling prescriptions in to pharmacies using the various doctors' prescribing information and picking up the medications using the woman's identification.
The suspect was spotted by a surveillance camera at AJ's Village Chemist in Middle Village, Queens on February 19th.
Prescription drugs actually have a greater potential than cannabis to turn one into an addict and pharmaceutical drugs have killed tens of thousands of individuals. One million people are addicted to over-the-counter and prescription painkillers and tranquilizers in the United Kingdom.
