Pittsburg - Last Thursday law enforcement officials arrested three people and they seized illegal fireworks in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
A spokesman for the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District said that more than 2,500 pounds of fireworks were confiscated.
According to NBC, the three men, ranging from 22-30-years-old, were arrested on suspicion on advertising and sale of fireworks without being licensed, as well as transporting them without registration, possession of more than 100 pounds of dangerous fireworks, as well as storing fireworks without a permit.
According to SFGate, the fireworks were in boxes that were labeled with names such as " Big Brother," Attitude Adjustment," and Master of Our Enemies."
The three men were arrested after authorities conducted an undercover sting, after investigators came across an advertisement for fireworks for sale on Craigslist. Investigators conducted an undercover buy before making the arrests.
The value of the fireworks is estimated to be in the tens of thousands of dollars.
