Similar to previous years, the festival will take place on the church grounds of St. Nicholas at 200 East Neck Road in West Babylon, New York. It will be comprised of Greek food (including gyros, souvlaki and Greek salads), and savory homemade Greek desserts and pastries; moreover, it will include live Greek dancing performances and live Greek music provided by ASTERI. There will be games and rides for young children, specialty vendors and church tours. Admission is free and there will be grand raffle prizes.
Father Demetrios Kazakis serves as its presiding priest. Two summers ago, the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church had suffered fire damage, as Digital Journal had reported, and they raised funds for restoration purposes via various fundraising and philanthropic efforts.
