Toulouse - The American coffeehouse chain has confirmed the intentions of opening its future locations in the red city by 2015, according to the regional daily newspaper la Dépêche.
Toulouse, city also known as 'Petit Paris', will finally fulfill the taste buds of loyal french fans. It is estimated that 15 new Starbucks locations will be added to the city of Toulouse over a five year span.
Starbucks is a successful franchise that already serves in cities like Paris, Lyon, Nice, Strasbourg, etc. This impressive lineup is presently available at major airports including train stations connecting one city to the next.
For those us who have been craving the Caramel Macchiato, the White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha, the Vanilla Latte or any other personal favorite the wait is almost over.
The business details does include an initial investment of 7.5 million euros. Each location will have to be allocated half million euros. The tentative initial contract duration will be for ten years to get things rolling.
The city of red colored bricks enjoys a great number of local coffeehouses, yet this will certainly reshape the business environment with the arrival of Starbucks.
There has been no official announcements nor any statements released from city hall. The Starbucks director did not hint or provide any additional specifics on this venture. Furthermore, given the nature of this project and the market they are looking to tap into local entrepreneurs along with fusing a collaboration with an existing local franchise.
