article imageReview: Three children release inspirational self-help books for kids Special

By Markos Papadatos     Dec 21, 2016 in Lifestyle
Author Michael Evans Sr. has three kids, all of which published motivational self-help books for other kids. Digital Journal has the scoop.
These three children are Michael (age 11), who wrote Never Judge a Fish on its Ability to Climb a Tree, Matthew (age 10) who wrote The Fight for Greatness, as well as Jocelyn (age 7) who penned Your First 10 Years of Life. All of their books are unique and clever and they have neat messages, as their reading audience (children) go through their childhood years.
In Never Judge a Fish on its Ability to Climb a Tree, young author, Michael, motivates children to discover their hidden talents. It is geared towards the young artist that is struggling in sports, as well as the athlete who is having difficulties with literature, as well as the writer who is finding mathematics challenging. His inspirational message is for youngsters to not judge themselves by their successes or failures, and instead, they should embrace each day and reach their daily goals to the best of their abilities.
In The Fight for Greatness, Matthew is echoing Michael's call for living in the present, and he is teaching his fellow peers to combat their biggest critics: themselves. In his book, it is his dream to become a BMX champion, and he is told that the sport is extremely precarious. As a result, he quit pursing this dream, yet once he meets a BMX champion, he is offered some helpful advice and his attitudes towards the extreme sport change.

Finally, in Your First 10 Years of Life, seven-year-old Jocelyn breaks down the precious amount of spare time adolescents have in childhood. The vast majority of a child's hours are spent doing requirements such as eating, sleeping, chores and homework, thus leaving little to no time for self-discovery and enjoyment. In her book, Jocelyn is encouraging children to not waste those hours watching television or playing video games. Instead, she is encouraging readers to make every minute an adventure.
Most impressive about all three children authors is that they are home-schooled by their dad, Michael Evans, Sr. Their father is a life/career coach, as well as author of The Real Matrix.
The Verdict
Overall, there is something in it or everybody in these three books, which were all written by children. They are worth more than just a passing glance, and they are recommended for parents and guardians to read as well. They all garner A ratings.
All of these three books are available on Amazon: Never Judge a Fish on its Ability to Climb a Tree, The Fight for Greatness and Your First 10 Years of Life.
