Interview: Psychic Patty Griffin opens up about her mediumship (Includes interview)

For as long as Griffin could remember, she has always been fascinated with mediumship and the afterlife. “When my dad died in 2004, I was read by John Edward which was so helpful and life-changing for me,” she said. “I would always watch mediums when they came on TV and read so many books on them,” she added.

When asked about when she first found out about her gift, Griffin responded, “I have always known that I was a little different in the sense that I would know things before they happened or see things that others could not see. Since the age of 13, I would write poems about people that had passed for friends and classmates that I did not know, and my poem would perfectly describe their life. Looking back now, it was actually a reading, a message. I have also done automatic writing since 2004, but it was not until July 2012, that I really knew how strong my skills were and I went professional in 2014.”

For Griffin, mediumship is not a job, it is a way of life. “I am in constant awe to have this amazing gift. We all have it,
some more than others. I love helping people and bringing them closure and letting them know that their loved ones are always with them,” she explained. “It is such a important message to send to people that when we leave this physical plane we do not die, that love lives on, sees all, believes all and never ends. To have someone come up to me and say through my message that they were able to live again, that the message saved them is amazing to me.”

Regarding her plans for the future, she said, “I have applied for the Forever Family Foundation which is so important to me as the message that they send and what they stand for. I will continue to do private readings, private group readings and gallery style readings. I participate in a limited amount of fairs as I am so busy at my office.
I am hoping to write a book whenever I have time. I don’t know where I am going to end up with this but I know I am loving every moment of it and so thankful for every person I have met along the way, for every person I have helped.”

Each day, Griffin is motivated by her family members and “a few good friends.”

For aspiring psychics and mediums, Griffin recommended that they always listen to themselves. “In doing this, it is taking a leap of faith as not everyone will understand you or get you. It is okay. Jump, believe, embrace it and enjoy!
Always trust in yourself, always!” she exclaimed.
