Pet store owner eating pet food for a month to prove a point

By Ryan Hite     Jul 3, 2014 in Health
A local pet store owner is eating only dog, cat, and bird food to prove a point about the nutritional value of the food that she provides at her stores.
A local pet store owner Dorothy Hunter is eating only dog, cat, and bird food for a month to prove that it has some nutritional value.
She says that if she can't eat it, she won't sell it at her Paw's Natural Pet Emporium stores in Richland and Kennewick.
The Tri-City Herald reports that Hunter began her month long pet food diet on June 19.
Hunter says that it's surprising how good cat and dog food tastes.
Her favorites are Tiki Cat brand chicken, which she eats from the can. She also claims to like Natural Balance dry kibble and dehydrated green beans for treats.
