Los Angeles - Located on the Hollywood "Walk of Fame" is a vibrant candy shop that teamed up with the legendary Stan Lee to create a delicious new chocolate bar. The famous comic book writer also collaborated with a local makerspace to develop custom decoders as well.
The Sweet! Hollywood emporium of colorful candies contains dazzling displays of sugary treats that has captivated customers since its inception a few years back. It looks like a scene straight out of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory with a wide variety of spectacularly fun delectables as far as the eye can see.
This local favorite has been releasing movie character chocolate bars for a while now. Recently, they unveiled a heavenly Hell Boy collection that would make any comic book enthusiast salivate just from looking at it.
Now, the Sweet! shop has started working with the iconic co-creator of the exhilarating comic book characters Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Hulk, and X-Men. The candy store and the legendary writer have come together to make custom Stan Lee chocolate bars that were debuted on October 1, 2014.

People lined up outside the shop for hours waiting for a glimpse of Stan Lee. The doors opened, and the crowd flooded in.
Sponsors of the event included Loot Crate, Ranker Comics, and other local influencers which blended together gaming, arts, and maker industries. Loot Crate is an epic monthly subscription service for geeks and gamers that ships out mystery boxes full of goodies to their fans. Ranker Comics is a fantastic comic book store nearby.
One of the more surprising inclusions in the list of benefactors was the up-and-coming makerspace named HexLab that created the custom laser-cut decoders that were given away.
For those who are unfamiliar with the term makerspace, it can be thought of as an emerging type of business that has a creative learning environment combined with the payment service of a gym. People can take classes and acquire new skills. However, unlike a gym where work-out machines are utilized, makerspaces provide high-tech equipment like 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, metal lathes, and injection molders.
HexLab teamed up with Stan Lee to develop the collectible, wooden decoders. This collaboration raises awareness of what makerspaces can do.
