The bakery had its grand opening a few weeks ago, and it is situated at 38-39 Bell Boulevard in Bayside, New York. It is co-owned by the Pantelatos and Zorba families.

The French Workshop is ideal for the entire family, and has a warm and comfortable atmosphere that makes one feel at home. Its interior design is artistic and creative.

Co-owner Jerry Pantelatos shared that he studied culinary downtown at the French Culinary Institute. “Some of my chefs are from France, for bread and for pastries,” he said.

Regarding the future plans for The French Workshop, he said, “Hopefully, we can expand and open more bakeries. The most important aspect would be to maintain the high-quality of our delights.”

“Each day, we hope to get better and better. Everything from our ingredients and our packaging is high-quality,” he added. “We keep pushing the desserts and the flavors.”
