IHOP locations in South Florida, as well as nationwide, are offering a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes. If you want free pancakes today, you can visit an IHOP between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. and it is for a great cause. It is part of a fundraising effort for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
The restaurant chain is attempting to raise more than $3 million from customers. The proceeds it collects in Alabama will benefit Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham and the USA Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Mobile.
IHOP took to Twitter, and Tweeted that it was National Pancake Day, and it was making the world a better place, one short stack at a time.
More than 1,500 IHOP locations are taking part in the event. This is not the first time IHOP has celebrated National Pancake Day. The company started celebrating it back in 2006, and since then it has managed to raise more than $15 million for various charities.
Those who are interested can find their nearest location and get their hands on free pancakes.
