Just when you think you've seen it all, something new appears on the store shelves and this time it's a chocolate-flavored toothpaste. But be prepared to spend some money as this new item doesn't come cheap.
Theodent has created a fluoride-free toothpaste that is made from cacao. The patented substance uses theobromine, calcium, and phosphate to create a natural alternative to the regular tooth care products in your favorite store.
The company claims their new toothpaste with actually regenerate your enamel and strengthen teeth, but the price isn't cheap as it is selling now online for upwards of $100.
Supposedly a lower strength version can be purchased on the Theodent website for around $10, but at last report it was unavailable to the public, but the extra strength Theodent 300 was available and selling for $100.
The big question now is how will the public respond? This new product is safe to swallow and probably a big hit with kids and that could be the selling point, but with such a steep price tag, it will be interesting to see how long it stays around.
