Award winning Golan Heights Winery has won four medals in Mundus Vini, one of the most prestigious international wine competitions. The winery's Yarden Chardonnay 2012, Gamla Brut NV, Yarden Merlot 2009 and Yarden 2T 2009 all received medals.
A number of articles have been written on Digital Journal about Golan Heights Winery where visitors can meet wine experts and educators and learn about the winery's fine wines, the reasons for the different bottle shapes and the importance of choosing the correct glass to consume your wine from for optimum taste.
Today it was announced that Golan Heights Winery has won four medals from the German MUNDUS VINI 2014 competition.
Golan Heights Winery brands are marketed under the names of Yarden, Gamla, Golan, and Hermon and over the years some of their wines have received over 50 international gold medal wine awards.

In 2012, Wine Enthusiast Magazine awarded the Golan Heights Winery, the coveted Wine Star Award from the category of New World Winery of the Year. In 2013, a dessert wine made from frozen clusters of Gewurztraminer, Yarden Heights Wine won an award.

The Mundus Vini is considered one of the most prestigious international wine competitions.
Thousands of wine from across the world participate in it hoping that the 150 international wine experts jury members from 26 different countries will judge their wines favorably.

The jury members gave Golan Heights Winery wines a gold medal for the Yarden Chardonnay 2012, and three more silver medals for the Gamla Brut NV, Yarden Merlot 2009 and Yarden 2T 2009.
