Milwaukee - A bar in Milwaukee has introduced a $50 Bloody Mary topped with an entire fried chicken. The drink, dubbed the Chicken Fried Bloody Beast, also comes with sausage, olives, cheese and onion shrimp.
According to Consumerist, the Sobelman’s Pub & Grill is offering the drink.
The drink is served in a jug, and it features four regular sized Marys. It also features the Baconadoes, which is the bar's custom skewers of jalapeno cheeseballs that are wrapped in bacon. It comes with sausage, olive, pickle, cheese, mushroom, onion, shrimp, Brussels sprouts, as well as tomato, celery and scallion and asparagus, according to Fox.
The cocktail is big enough that it can feed four people. The bar is also donating $5 of every sale to the Milwaukee's Hunger Task Force, which is a food charity that does work in the area.
The Chicken Fried Bloody Beats is not the first unique drink that the bar has created. It already serves The Bloody Masterpiece, which is another Bloody Mary drink, but it is topped with a bacon cheeseburger.
Other bars, such as the Score on Davie, in Vancouver, have experimented with food-filled drinks. The Score on Davie sells a Caesar, which is Canada's version of the Bloody Mary, and it features a whole roast chicken, as well as a burger and onion rings, chicken wings, pulled pork Sriracha-glazed slider, a pulled mac and cheese hot dog, as well as a brownie.
