“Cockblocking” is defined by Urban Dictionary as “To hinder, by whatever means, the chances of another male from getting a sexual encounter with a female.”
Huffington Post reports that the man in the video is Ethan Cole, and that “Explaining Things To My Grandfather” is part of a soon-to-launch series on Funny or Die.
In the video, Cole first asks his grandfather what he thinks cockblocking is, and his grandfather’s first guess is that it means “cutting off somebody’s penis.” Cole explains it, and his grandfather says that way back when it was referred to as “cutting in.”
Things take a turn for the funny (or cringeworthy, depending on your humour preference), when Cole’s grandmother comes in. Both his grandparents begin calling Cole’s friends to tell them not to cockblock Cole anymore. Watch the whole thing to get the full impression.
