Advanced Along-Track Scanning Radiometer (AATSR) image of the Lake Tahoe, Calif./Nev. region, acquired Sept. 25, 2002. AATSR bands at 0.87, 0.67 and 0.55 micrometers are displayed in red, green and blue, respectively. Satellite data such as these were used to compute the lake surface temperatures.
