The worldwide book fair took place between Nov. 5 to 6. ReadersMagnet served as an exhibitor at the virtual fair, which was part of this year’s NYLA Annual Conference and Trade Show. The show featured about 40 sessions that were prerecorded as well as four keynote speakers and live sessions.
The worldwide pandemic this year made attending traditional book fairs, conventions, and expos in person impossible for many individuals in 2020. This is why the NYLA chose to bring the excitement of the book fair experience to the World Wide Web for bookworms across the globe to experience this year. All in all, the online book fair provided opportunities for book lovers to learn more about works in their favorite genres and by their favorite authors. The fair additionally benefited exhibitors by giving them the chance to showcase their unique products/services and receive exposure on the world stage. The NYLA said it looks forward to continuing to inspire people all over the world to read and to appreciate literature on a whole new level in the months ahead.
