The Ice Bucket Movement Supports a Good Cause Through Healthy, Natural Candy

OUDENAARDE, BELGIUM / ACCESSWIRE / November 5, 2020 / While many businesses strive to give back to the community at only small percentages out of profit, the Ice Bucket Movement (IBM) decided to disregard the ideology and developed a business model genuinely focused on creating a positive impact on the community through philanthropy.

The Ice Bucket Movement is inspired by the famous charity movement, which took the world by storm six years ago: the ice bucket challenge. Known as a charitable cause in the pursuit of raising funds for ALS, the ice bucket challenge united the world to raise awareness and help those who have ALS. Similarly, Andy Vlaeyen, CEO of the Ice Bucket Movement, envisions leading a global charity cause through the company's line of healthy sweets with the sole purpose of using the vast majority of profits to fuel IBM..

Ice Bucket Movement's unique business model is made possible through the digital space, where sales are automatically translated into funding for the company's philanthropic and charity cause. The founder saw how many people wanted to donate to worthy causes but didn't have the means to do so. He wanted to provide a solution by developing a wholesome product that would be a viable alternative to anyone and, at the same time, be an instrument for change.

"We have created a natural, sugarfree, and organic confectionery under our umbrella brand, Ice Bucket," shared Andy. The Ice Bucket Movement launched a line of natural gums, sugarfree gummy bears, natural sugarfree mints, and more. Furthermore, the company aims to build a community of 1,000,000 like-minded individuals driven by a good cause in the next two to five years. Besides promoting a healthier lifestyle for people who love sweets, the company is helping thousands through its business model.

Asked what motivated him to build the Ice Bucket Movement, the CEO shared that he experienced how hard it is to be at the lowest point of life. At a young age, he suffered from a coma after surviving a collision. The near-death experience turned the once active child into a bedridden patient for months. Andy suffered to cope with his peers and become as active as he was before the accident.

"Early 2000s, I finally was fed up with all the medications and doctors and feeling like crap, so I basically just booked a place in San Diego and met a nutritionist there," shared Andy. The change of environment and lifestyle exposed him to natural healing approaches and healthier alternatives. That was when Andy felt that his life was finally taking shape again. He started his own R&D company, focused on creating healthy, natural confectionery. The CEO recalled that the process was "both challenging and rewarding."

Today, the Ice Bucket Movement is making thousands across the country and in Europe rethink the way they perceive candy and its impact on the rest of the world. The company encourages kids to be kids, with their undeniable craving for sweets, by introducing them to a healthier lifestyle.

It's indeed a challenging pursuit to carry such a responsibility. Still, Andy proves that the Ice Bucket Movement can leave a legacy and change lives across the globe, one healthy candy at a time. Although he wants to live a comfortable life, the CEO shared that he wants to create something bigger than himself. "You can't pour out of an empty bucket anyway," said Andy.
