We hope that you and your family are staying safe through the health crisis as we endure this once in a lifetime disruption. The lockdown and social isolation we are all experiencing can be stressful and even depressing, but we will come through stronger than ever.
The outpouring of love and support from our patients, friends, and the community has been overwhelming, and we are excited to reopen when it is safe to do so.
We also could not be more proud of our Dermatologist, Dr. Morris Westfried, who rose to the occasion by performing Telehealth COVID-19 visits around the clock to serve the local community and reduce COVID-19 hospitalizations over the past 6 weeks. Working hand in hand with the healthcare community, Dr. Westfried has been able to provide COVID-19 positive patients with pulse oximeters, chest x-rays, and baseline blood workups in the comfort and safety of their own homes. He has selectively treated hundreds of patients with Hydroxychloroquine + Antibiotics as well as at-home oxygen therapy with great success. As long as there is a need, Dr. Westfried will continue to care for COVID-19 patients, working hard with all of New York’s medical professionals to bring this crisis under control.
