L.A.-Based Company Includes Flint in Giving Program, Distributing Water Purifiers and Masks During COVID-19 Crisis

Six years after the start of the lead crisis, the community of Flint is still struggling to access clean water. Even though the city has replaced about 85 percent of the lead pipes serving its water system, the lead pipe replacement program has been temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, still leaving some residents without safe water in their homes.
