The Rustenburg Platinum Mines had a brief wildcat strike by 17,000 miners today - demanding a probe into the mysterious disappearance of miners Qikelela Nontanaza (1991) and Thomas Mashibwe (2002) both at Frank Shaft - who were filmed going belowground but never came back..The mine has a poor safety record.
