World Creativity and Innovation Week: Joryn Jenkins talks “Changing the Way the World Gets Divorced”

Best Selling Author and Award-Winning family law attorney, Joryn Jenkins, is taking her expert ideas to World Creativity and Innovation Week as she virtually presents her thoughts on “Changing the Way the World Gets Divorced,” Friday, April 17, 2020, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm EST.

(PRUnderground) April 9th, 2020

Divorce is not a subject that most people want to talk about. However, with 50 percent of first marriages ending in divorce, it is a sad fact of life. Not only does divorce have a hugely negative impact on the couple and any children involved, but it also affects extended family and friends, as well as the workplace.

Author and award-winning family law attorney, Joryn Jenkins, used to be one of those trial attorneys who ardently fought for her clients, excited to win battles, and eventually, the war. But she came to realize that there is a huge negative impact on families who go through a divorce trial.

As a result, Joryn became a national advocate for a new way of approaching divorce and related matters – collaborative divorce. In this presentation, Joryn will present how collaborative divorce, works as well as six other courtless divorce options. This is vital information for individuals who find themselves in the position of “first responder” for people going through a divorce. First responders include Human Resource staff, ministers, business and real estate attorneys, bartenders, and beauticians.

World Creativity and Innovation Week is an international community dedicated to seizing the infinite creative potential that awaits us every day. Its purpose is to encourage people to use new ideas, make new decisions, and take new steps towards making the world, and your place in it, better through creativity.

With divorce being a constant in our society, Joryn Jenkins is taking this opportunity not only to encourage people to use the process the right way, but also to give a sense of safety and security to the many who feel scared to proceed. The event, originally scheduled in locations around the world, is now being offered virtually, making it even more accessible to attendees.

Meet Joryn Jenkins:

Joryn Jenkins is a trial attorney with 40+ years of courtroom experience, now in private practice at Open Palm in Tampa, where she concentrates on the courtless practice of family law. While Joryn’s focus during most of her years in practice has centered on legal ethics, civility, and professionalism in the practice of law, her mission in recent years has morphed, to “change the way the world gets divorced,” to inform folks as to the alternatives they have when it comes to the process of divorce, and to enlighten them as to which choices will best suit their families and their finances.
