Waters Edge Church Responds to COVID-19 by Launching COVIDCARE757.com

YORKTOWN, Va. – March 19, 2020 – (Newswire.com)

Waters Edge Church, with multiple campuses on the Peninsula, is mobilizing its volunteers and meeting needs in the community through a brand new web initiative called CovidCare757.com.  The website launched earlier this week as a tool for the community to find helpful resources and to submit needs by those impacted by COVID-19. According to the site, “the local church exists to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of its community. Whether you attend Waters Edge Church or have never heard of us, we’d like to be a resource to you during these unprecedented times. Visit CovidCare757.com to find out all of the ways you can meet needs or have your needs met!”

The new website is being promoted using the church’s social media platforms and is being publicized on the car windows of church attendees’ cars.  According to the church’s Missions Pastor, Eddie Antle, “We just want people to know that we are Waters Edge Church, and we are here for them!”

For more information about Waters Edge Church and their other efforts to respond to COVID-19, visit watersedgechurch.net or call 757.867.7378. Everyone is invited to join the Waters Edge Church Family for live services online this Sunday, at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. at watersedgechurch.net
