Founders Sarah Whipple and Stacia Vinar have nearly 35 years of combined experience in the high-end furniture and design industry. They have developed an expert curatorial eye and intimate knowledge of the most influential brands and designers. They know the value of exceptional, modern furniture. Upon realizing that there was an increasing need for attainable, high-end modern furniture, they developed a new niche focused on making carefully selected, pre-owned pieces accessible to consumers across the United States. Thus, Modern Resale was born in Los Angeles, home to one of the largest design districts in the world.

They have an impressive collection of designer chairs and a nice assemblage of lighting that is sure to please homeowners, set decorators and interior designers alike. “Many of our pieces were previously owned by some of the most famous celebrities and business moguls in Beverly Hills and Bel Air,” says Stacia. “But we keep the utmost confidentiality and would never divulge our sources to protect their privacy.
