Cameron T. Brett, Director of Enterprise Marketing at KIOXIA America, Inc. Re-elected for Second Term as STA President

(PRUnderground) February 11th, 2020

The SCSI Trade Association (STA), a globally recognized authority on Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) technology used in data storage interconnects, today announced its 2020 Board of Directors. Representing many of the leading companies in the storage industry, four officers and three directors-at-large have been elected to serve a one-year term. These dynamic leaders are charged with developing strategic marketing programs that support the work of the INCITS T10 Technical Committee and are designed to educate the industry on the value of SAS in the marketplace.

Cameron T. Brett, director of Enterprise Marketing at KIOXIA America, Inc. was re-elected for a second term as STA president. Alexandra Haser, senior industry standards engineer at Molex joins the board as secretary, a position previously held by Greg McSorley, technical business development manager at Amphenol, who rejoins the board as director at-large. All other 2020 board members remain in the same position they held in the 2019 roster.

“SAS technology addresses a very large and continuously growing market, natively supporting many host connections to potentially thousands of target devices in a single topology,” said Brett. “SAS is undergoing an evolution, transitioning to 24G SAS in 2020, implementing new features and enhancements to reach new application performance levels.”
