I'm a believer that Algae is the most suited way to get our auto's and other things away from oil dependnce. The technology is here and will enhance in the next few years. Imagine that the deserts in the south west being used for the good of our country. Imagine using algae,( which is what makes up oil,) in it's early stages through science . Science can make it grow fast and in different strains to benefit it's use. No food chain stuff , no opec influence and American made or at least a friendly country that would help the supply. Take Brazil, it uses sugar cane to be pretty much self reliable in it's energy use. They have stated that if you get the technology right it may use algae instead of sugar. So if the world wants to get away from these crooks in opec then, lets all, in the world, get on the band wagon for , algae for fuel
