We are working in the area of arsenic in ground water of Bihar and detected many arsenic hotspots in our study area.Arsenic has entered in the food chain, particularly rice as the irrgation is dependent on tube wells withdrawind water from aquifer with very high arsenic content. The rice variety which can resist the arsenic uptake will be ideal for cultivation in our study area.I invite you to test your new GE variety in our study area.
