Ice in the lagoon

2008-04-07 18:52:20

A lagoon on Ward's Island. Spring has just begun, and there is still a lot of ice on the water.

    Thanks, Cynthia.

I have ambiguous feelings about the spring. I am happy that I'll be able to take my bike again to ride around the parks and admire the animal and plant life, but I am also sad, because this was an exceptionally beautiful winter for Toronto, and I haven't been able to enjoy it as much as I'd like.

Kudos on the photography as well...Very picturesque scene. You sure you're not moonlighting as a photographer for National Geographic, Bart?

I think I'd be a lot richer in that case, David! ^_^ Thanks for the nice compliment.
