FBI special agents undergo "Pre-Deployment Training" to prepare them for overseas duty in the war zones of Iraq and Afghanistan. The training takes place in the mountains of Utah and lasts two weeks. The agents that receive this type of training are regular FBI investigative agents and forensic technicians. The agents of the FBI's elite counter-terror force, Hostage Rescue Team, recieve far more specialized training with military special operations teams.
