Arizemendi Bakery on 9th Ave near Judah Street is less than two blocks away from the proposed site for a new location for La Boulange Bakery and Cafe. Arizmendi employees and supporters questioned the wisdom of allowing another bakery to open up in an area that already has three bakeries within a two block radius.
