A woman belonging to Manipuri community is seen working with improvised machine, known as Charka. This device is an integral part of hand loom. Threads are being collected using charka and put into hand loom to weave cloths with exotic ethnic and traditional design. The photo was clicked in a village near Agartala, Tripura. Important to note that Tripura, a tiny North Eastern State of India and surrounded from three sides by Bangladesh, is a heaven for unique ethnic cultures of 19 ancient tribes
