Toronto - Toronto has plenty of alcohol inspired events that take place throughout the year, from beer and wine festivals to the harder libations. Now the city will have it's first self-guided Whiskey trail.
Details are slim, but the gist of it is to get out there and bar hop to a series of different bars, trying their cocktail creations and getting your official "passport" stamped. The “passport” event is your connection to eight of the city’s greatest Whiskey Bars and 10 of the world’s greatest Whiskey's.
Each Bar has been partnered with three individual brands and has created three new and unique cocktails that they will be featuring during Whiskylicious.
By doing the arithemetic correctly, this works out to 24 new and innovative cocktails in the Toronto market.
Participating Bars:
The County General
Parts & Labour
The Drake Hotel
The Saint Tavern
This inaugural event runs from February 24 to March 9, 2014, and each of your "passport" stamps can be redeemed for a ballot to enter in a draw to win a trip for 2 to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Pick up your free "passport" at any of the above noted participating bars. Cheers!
