article imageReview: Pop group Midnight Red stuns on eponymous new EP Special

By Markos Papadatos     Dec 25, 2013 in Entertainment
Pop boy band Midnight Red released their newest eponymous EP on December 10, 2013, via 2101 Records and Capitol Records.
Midnight Red is Anthony Ladao, Eric Secharia, Colton Rudloff, Joey Diggs and Thomas Augusto.
It opens with their catchy single "Take Me Home" and it is followed by a noteworthy remix of the same single (Wildboyz Club Mix).
"Miss Firestarter" has a Maroon5 vibe to it, as well as the potential to become a single in the future. "Where Did U Go?" is upbeat and a neat sing-along tune.
They change the pace of their EP with their closing track, the moving ballad "Nothing Lasts Forever," which features their stellar harmonies.
The Verdict
Midnight Red proves yet again that they can do no wrong in pop music. They put on the best live shows such as the ones evidenced this year at New York City's Gramercy Theatre and at The Emporium in Patchogue, New York. They release top-notch singles, music videos, and they are good musicians in the studio, hence this great EP.
This EP by Midnight Red would make the perfect present for anybody's Christmas stocking this holiday season.
