By Markos Papadatos     Jan 20, 2014 in Entertainment
Country singer Maggie Rose earned critical acclaim with her "Cut To Impress" debut studio album that was released on RPM Entertainment. Now she's back with a new single.
In 2013, she was recognized by Mediabase as the 6th "most played" female country artist, thanks to the success of her singles "I Ain't Your Mama" and "Better," both of which made the Top 30 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts.
Rose has shared the stage with such esteemed artists as Gary Allan and Sheryl Crow.
"Looking Back Now" is the eighth track featured on her Cut To Impress CD and it was penned by Lisa Carver.
The Verdict
In summation, Maggie Rose's vocals on this new single are bold, melodic and infectious. They are reminiscent of country singer Kellie Pickler with the spitfire edge of Kimberly Perry from The Band Perry. Rose showcases a lot of range on this track and hopefully fans will see that and request the song on their favorite country music radio stations. She deserves to be the next Carrie Underwood or Miranda Lambert in country music. It garners 4.5 out of 5 stars.
