article imageReview: Joe Nichols releases lyric video for new country single 'Yeah'

By Markos Papadatos     Jan 19, 2014 in Entertainment
Country singer Joe Nichols posted the lyric video for his newest single "Yeah" on his official YouTube channel on January 10, 2014.
It is the fourth track featured on his latest studio album, Crickets, which was produced by Derek George and Mickey Jack Cones, as well as the follow-up single to his chart-topper "Sunny and 75."
Radio airwaves ought to embrace it since Nichols is the best male country vocalist that the genre has to offer. I look forward to hearing it on New York's hit country radio station, Nash FM 94.7.
The Verdict
"Yeah," co-written by Ashley Gorley and Bryan Simpson, is quite catchy and uplifting. The song's lyric video is equally clever and noteworthy. Hopefully Nichols will also release a full-length music video to go along with his new single. His baritone vocals on this tune are traditional, rich and captivating. He manages to keep his sound fresh and nonchalant. Way to go Joe.
Producers Mickey Jack Cones and Tony Brown who co-produced "Yeah" deserve a round of applause for its production. It garners 5 out of 5 stars.
