article imageReview: Country singer Katie Armiger back with best video to date 'Safe' Special

By Markos Papadatos     Jan 19, 2014 in Entertainment
Country singer Katie Armiger releases her newest music video for her single "Safe" on January 10 and posted it on her YouTube page.
It was directed by Justin Baldoni and it features the Long Beach Fire Department. Armiger's video is a tribute to the first responders of our country and the every-day sacrifices that they make to ensure our safety.
Her music video is poignant and it really tugs at the heartstrings. While Armiger is known for her powerhouse voice and pipes, in "Safe" she is more reserved and delivers a subtle and delicate vocal performance that is melodic and soothing. Her vocals are reminiscent of fellow country songstress Leann Rimes. It is the finest single that she has released in her career and she makes us all think about our first responders and all that they do for us. I commend her for her brevity in recording this tune, as well as for spotlighting our brave men and women.
The song "Safe" garners an A rating, and one may need a box of Kleenex to watch its moving music video, which has a cliffhanger ending that is left open to interpretation.
