article imageReview: Country singer Jon Pardi soars on new album 'Write You A Song' Special

By Markos Papadatos     Jan 16, 2014 in Entertainment
Country singer and songwriter Jon Pardi released his debut album "Write You A Song" via his record label Capitol Nashville.
Pardi co-wrote 10 out of its 11 tracks and he co-produced his newest musical effort.
It opens with the mid-tempo "What I Can't Put Down" and it is followed by his current radio single "Up All Night," which is fun and catchy, as well as the title track.
He changes the pace with the moving ballad "The Man," which happens to be my favorite song on the album.
"Missin' You Crazy" is Pardi's debut single which made the Top 25 on country radio and "Trash A Hotel Room" is a fun tune.
Although "Chasin' Them Better Days" is mediocre, "Love You From Here" is quite noteworthy and another gem.
It closes with "Empty Beer Cans" and "When I've Been Drinkin'," where he showcases his twang.
The Verdict
Overall, Jon Pardi does a decent job on his debut studio album and hopefully, he will have more hits from it. It garners 4 out of 5 stars. If you enjoy wanting to have a good time and twang, this CD is for you.
