Veteran country singer David Frizzell is back with his brand new single "Valentine's Day," which is appropriate for tomorrow.
David Frizzell is best-known for his collaboration with Shelly West "You're The Reason God Made Oklahoma," which is a classic country duet and chart-topping country single. It has been covered in live concerts by such award-winning artists as Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban and country duo Sugarland.
The Verdict
The lyrics of "Valentine's Day" are warm, authentic and honest. It is filled with vivid imagery and it is the quintessential theme song for the actual Valentine's Day holiday. His baritone vocals are rich and captivating. It has a traditional country vibe to it. Country singers like David Frizzell come once in a lifetime and his voice is reminiscent to his older brother, the late but great Country Music Hall of Famer Lefty Frizzell. You can really hear his heart on this song. This tune garners 5 out of 5 stars. Congratulations David for a job well done!
